Counterfeit Alli Has High Doses of Sibutramine

A Food and Drug Administration analysis of counterfeit Alli, the over-the-counter formulation of the lipase inhibitor orlistat, has found that the fake product not only contains sibutramine but, when taken at the recommended daily dose, may deliver twice the recommended dose of that drug.
