Diabetes Associated With an Increased Risk of Cancer

SAN FRANCISCO — People with diabetes are more likely to develop cancer and more likely to die of cancer, and have a shorter survival time after a cancer diagnosis than do people without diabetes, according to a study presented by Hsin-Cheh Jessica Yeh, Ph.D.
