Rate of Preexisting Diabetes In Pregnancy Has Risen to 20%

While the rate of gestational diabetes remained unchanged from 1999 to 2005, the rate of preexisting diabetes among pregnant women doubled, according to a study of more than 175,000 pregnant women.
