Oral Glucose Tolerance Test Urged for All PCOS Patients

Because of their increased risk of developing impaired glucose tolerance and type 2 diabetes, all women with polycystic ovary syndrome should be screened with a 2-hour oral glucose tolerance test, and that test should be repeated every 2 years, according to a new position statement from the Androgen Excess Society.
