The National Diabetes Education Program offers a variety of free resources for health care professionals that are downloadable from its Web site, www.ndep.nih.gov. The newest resource is the 2007 Diabetes Numbers At-a-Glance, a reference containing the American Diabetes Association's most recent guidelines for managing prediabetes and diabetes. Patient education materials are also available on the site.
