Review Suggests Pioglitazone's Risk-Benefit Ratio ‘Unclear’

A new systematic review by the Cochrane Collaboration of the diabetes drug pioglitazone concludes that until new evidence becomes available, the drug's risk-benefit ratio—and its place in the treatment of type 2 diabetes—“remains unclear.”
